In 2012, Joe Fesolovich came to the University of Scranton Small Business Development Center (SBDC) as a referral from the Carbondale Technology Transfer Center. Joe needed assistance in improving traffic to his website TheCuttingBoardFactory.com, and he wanted to lower the amount of money he was spending on Google AdWords.
The SBDC provided information on Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimization. They also assisted Joe in understanding Google Analytics and showed him how to use Social Media Marketing to grow the business. Lastly, the SBDC helped the Cutting Board Factory redesign their website that would be optimized to work with search engines.
