TecBridge is hosting its 14th Annual 2016 Business Plan Competition. Students from the area’s Fourteen colleges and universities, along with non-collegiate teams are eligible to win their share of $100,000 in cash and in-kind business services to launch their tech focused company, all while gaining valuable insight into the world of business and entrepreneurship.
TecBridge recognizes the importance of entrepreneurship to a productive local economy; thereby, the Business Plan Competition was created as a means to promote and harness free enterprise on a regional scale. The event is just one example of the organization’s positive contributions to the economic future of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Registration closes March 17. Application materials are due April 1.
Finalists will be selected on April 14th and will Pitch their business idea to a panel of judges on April 20th.
On April 28th, an awards ceremony will be held to congratulate the finalists and announce the winners of the 14th Annual Business Plan Competition.
Now in its fourteenth year, the Competition has the goal of promoting innovative thinking and entrepreneurship in area students and non-collegiate teams while supporting the development of regional businesses in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Facilitated by the TecBridge, the competition is endorsed by the Northeastern Pennsylvania Association of Colleges & Universities and supported by our local Chambers of Commerce and regional businesses.
